About SONRISE
Learn about the church and what to expect when you visit.
Sunday Service 10:00 a.m.
When you join us for one of our service, it is our hope that you discover the life-changing message of Christ.
We want people to be a part of a gathering where they can experience God and worship in an environment that is open to individuals who are seeking to know more about God. Our weekend service is casual “come as you are” gatherings. We invite everyone, no matter your background, to come experience a dynamic and deep encounter with Christ through modern worship, creative media and applicable teachings.
What to Expect
What should I wear?
Very casual and informal. Many people come dressed in jeans and t-shirts while others may come dressed business casual. We are much more concerned about what’s going on inside of a person than what’s on the outside, and we want you to feel comfortable while we experience worship together.
What is the music like?
We play engaging, relevant music that is inspiring to the soul but easy to understand.
Our services are a time of celebration, all with the intention of bringing glory to Christ our Lord.

What is the message like?
Pastor Bob will talk about an issue that is relevant today and what the Bible says about dealing with that issue. We want you to be able to say that what we talked about on the weekend gave you something that could help you during the week: in your family, at your work, in your life. Our teaching is designed to provide you with practical biblical resources that will help you successfully navigate through life.
How long is the service?
A service usually lasts between 65 – 70 minutes.
What about my children?
During the first part of the worship service, your children will be in the service with you sharing in the music and discovering the songs that they will want to sing during the week. After the fellowship break children 4 years through 6th grade may share in the Sunday School provided with materials geared to insipire and challenge them with the message of Jesus.
Will I have to say anything, sign anything or be singled out in any way?
If you are visiting, we are just glad you are here! We will not make you wear a visitor badge or stand up so that everyone can see you. We would like for you to fill out a “Connect Card” so that we can assist you in your visit at Sonrise and we have a small visitor packet we would like to give you.
